Well, things should finally stabilize this week on the FeedBlitz service, now that I have a much better chance of posting before midnight eastern. If you have some spare time. Make that lots of spare time, you might consider air travel as an option. The final bit for last night’s program got pushed into place at about 2:40AM . So apologies to the FeedBlitz and European listeners that pushed things late into the day. I should be back on track today.

Melodeo Mobilcast is our newest distribution partner. SDR is available on the Mobilcast Network – and I’m learning more. These are Symbian OS phones from Nokia, Motorola Razr and Rokr and Sony Ericsson phones. There is a quick demo above by the Mobilcast logo that will run in almost any browser to give you an idea of what’s going on.
Since the Melodeo system uses progressive download and the cellphone is by definition always connected to the network, playback starts almost immediately.
Not that there aren’t bugs.. The show for Nov 11 picked up perfectly but Nov 13 snipped off the first 15 seconds or so. It will be really interesting to see how that works out. There’s a list of the phones here that support the Java client needed
