Mobilcast Attitude- Gotta Love It !

Mobile this evening from Indianapolis. Almost becoming our second home – and that’s OK with me, since there is a Fry’s nearby – no longer necessary to make the trek when I am out in Mountain View on business when there is one only three hours from home.

Behold the power of the Scoble. There’s been a tag added to this post as a geekly tweak of the search enginer world that started a few days ago.. now up to 50,000 on Google.
Also, a hello to Allen Lew, who put his name and photo on the SDR Frappr page. He hosts a podcast called Travelography from Flagstaff, AZ . You can add your photo and shoutout to the Frappr page, and also get an idea where other SDR listeners are located, and in some cases, what’s on their minds.
Mobilcast has a page up that is a good summary of the new features in Mobilcast Beta 3.0 .
There is also a post on the Mobilcast blog noting that
Yahoo and Motorola have announced that as part of the continuing Motorola and Yahoo! relationship, this mobile application would allow consumers to not only drag and drop podcasts directly from the PC straight to their mobile phone through the Yahoo! Music Engine, but would also let consumers directly download podcasts over-the-air* to their handset using an integrated application.
As Stan Sorenson of Mobilcast says
“I love this. Any time a couple big players enter your space it validates the market. ”
Now that is an attitude that you gotta love !

Now a really useful guide to Fixing Windows with Knoppix has appeared online, a reprint of a chapter in the book Hacking Knoppix from Scott Granneman . You might want to plan ahead, print out the chapter and put it alongside a fresh burn of Knoppix STD when you get the call.
