RF-EDA Industry Review on Techpodcasts.com
After a number of months of preparation, I have just launched the first episode of a new podcast and business venture.
RF-EDA.NET is the new home – still under construction – for the RF-EDA Review Podcast, a weekly summary of news and technology in a ten to fifteen minute format.
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) is the term for a family of computer applications that Electrical Engineers use to design and simulate all sorts of devices – analog and digital. The best way to describe it ? CAD for Electrical Engineers, just like Auto-CAD is used by Mechanical Engineers in their work.
Radio Frequency or RF-EDA pertains to a special segment of EDA that specializes in analog signals – as opposed to digital – at high frequencies, generally above 1 Ghz – used in wireless and wireline communications.
The format will sound very familiar – just focused upon one technology segment.
No player on the RF-EDA.net site yet, but you can listen at Techpodcasts.com. It is an enhanced podcast, including some photos and diagrams for viewing at TPN, within iTunes or on the screen of your iPod.
