      YouTube Cranks It Up

      by Andrew McCaskey
YouTube is making good on the promise from a year ago to increase the resolution of at least some of the video content that it serves up.

I’ve tried it on several of the video’s that I have in my YouTube favorites, and so far have found several that have been converted. It’s probably a project that is going to take many months to spread through the inventory but on my limited data set, it’s a real improvement.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to get the AppleTV 2.0 to pull the higher res version of the next stupid pet trick.
