My Dad

I will not be publishing any podcasts this week, as I am traveling back to Virginia for some final moments with my Dad, Andrew McCaskey, Sr. He is 93 years old but we know these are his last hours , or at best days.
Many of you know that we have spent the past four weeks in Virginia with my wife’s family. This photo was taken last Thursday, with him in good health and spirits, although weakened with congestive heart failure and multiple system shutdowns in progress. His condition has taken a nosedive over the past few days and through hospice care he is able to have some periods of recognition of family and friends.
I need this time off from the production of the podcasts, and trust that you will understand.
