Starting to Prepare for CMS Expo

Gearing up for Video Coverage
I am gearing up for video coverage of the Content Management Association Expo in Denver.
Most of the day has been spent trying out CamTwist for the MacMini, and BoinxTV for the MacBook Pro. I feel sure that there will be some additional PC based hardware in the mix before it is all over. Combining unknown software, beta test evaluations and consumer grade video hardware may well be the prescription for disaster. On the other hand, the CES coverage with Flip cameras turned out to generate such interest that this entire field of informal video is a great opportunity.
There are all sorts of outlets available for distribution: Vimeo, Blip.tv, stickam, justin.tv, ustream.tv and there must be a host of others. For CMS, we are looking to team with some of the RawVoice members for the coverage, and provide both streaming and recorded content.
