The article on the Luxfer prism system from the 1880′s is of interest – if only to contrast the forms of architecture that were popular 120 years ago in business forms – with atriums, light and wind shafts and other features that were designed to use as much natural light and ventilation as possible.
I wonder how much will really be incorporated in to practical designs as opposed to award winning designs ? My impression is that architectural ideas spread at glacial speed. This one might have the economic drivers to make it move a bit faster.
