More Processing of CES Videos
by Andrew McCaskey
I had no idea how much video we had gathered on the backchannel for CES. The totals are slightly over 24GB of material in avi format, plus some materials that were shot as B roll on the HD system – which was primarily used for the formal HD interviews.
Slowly but surely, I am working through the backlog and presenting samples from day to day.
There is going to be a more organized way to work through the videos, and then we do have plans for a “director’s cut” that will come out a bit later in the spring along with some comments and perspective after the dust settles.
Todd and his mom were able to join us for dinner this past weekend. I think that we were all still a bit into the ‘CES Fatigue” and actually did not spend a lot of time on that topic – just identifying some other industry shows that we might like to cover in 2008 and 2009.
Todd and the RawVoice team will be conducting a planng meeting this coming weekend – and we need to get set up for a roundtable later in the month.
Distractions ?
I just got sucked into keyboards in a Jimmy Buffet cover band here in town for a party. Nothing like a beach party in February.
