Big News from Nozbe

Nozbe and Jott logos

In case you haven’t figured it out, I am REALLY happy with my new account at Nozbe. Once I looked at the site and figured out the UI, in a few hours I converted from a trial to fully subscription so that I could add multiple projects.

I am now close to seventy projects that I am tracking, as I add in all of the day job tasks as well. Now I have personal, day job, and podcasting all in the same place – and I am getting things back under control and becoming much more confident that I am getting things done and not missing critical deadlines.

I just read this on the Nozbe blog :

Jott links to Nozbe – dictate your tasks and notes

Jott i
s a great service that enables you to dictate your thoughts through your mobile phone and have them sent to your email address or someone else as text message.

Nozbe is a great web application for getting things done that helps you stay on top of your productivity.

Combining Jott and Nozbe gives you a powerful productivity suite. It’s like having a virtual secretary!

Now you can dictate your tasks and notes!

The power of Jott is just great – you phone a toll-free number and record a message that gets translated into a text that… can be added as task or note to your Nozbe account – to any project you want!

Michael ( the Nozbe developer) continues:

. . your Jott message is short, the Jott text will be added to your project as an action. If it’s a long message – it will be added as a Note to the same project. This is very powerful. You’ll be able to dictate ideas and thoughts to your Nozbe without ever losing them!

Note that it may take a few minutes for your Jotts to appear in Nozbe, because Jott needs a while to translate the speech to text. However during our tests the Jotts appeared in Nozbe after a minute or two, so there is no long waiting involved.
