Happy New Year !
Hope that you had a good day and, with luck, have the rest of the week off as well.
Preparation for the CES coverage for TPN continues.
Early on, I had some good success with the Apple Airport Express, which I hope to use as the main hub in the hotel to run the two computers, the iPhone and the Nokia N800 in my own little WiFi cloud, without getting hit for every time a IP address gets pulled from the hotel system. A day or two of those charges will pay for the Airport Express, if they make it past the challenge screens.
On the video front, the major reality has struck. There are just not enough hours in the day to do what I would like, as far as coverage and quality. So, I have spent the time finding the fastest encoder possible (settling on the Xilisoft Video converter) to take the FlipVideo avi files, trim them up, and get them into a small enough file that there is a prayer of being able to upload them, with some sort of EVDO connection.
I will have things up on YouTube later tonight, but the BlipTV embed is shown above.
