Spam at All Time High .

It is duly noted that an estimate 95% of the email traffic is spam – and that is even before the massive Storm Worm botnet – somewhere between one and ten million compromised machines gets turned on.

The blended threat combines attachments such as toxic PDF documents and traditional malware extends the aggravations. The bright point is that the image based spam that had been so effective in bypassing systems seems to be on the decline.

Just like the super bug – antibiotic resistant and well dispersed – spammers evolve and morph into forms that still acheive their purpose to survive and prosper.
