      Classic iPods – Aging the Populace

      Nothing like having something that you think of as relatively new declared to be a classic – But that is what has happened to the white iPod, and as the new version were announced today, there has to be an element of nostalgia in the air.

      The 80GB and 160GB “classics” are determined to be the last of the breed – and on their way to becoming a part of history.

      Of course, video is the only sort of media that could begin to consume storage in that volume. Paid ? Probably not – but as the balance shifts and more and more user generated content becomes available – perhaps the transcoded YouTube video will find a way.

      Unless those stories about all that Bittorrent traffic are really true..
