The item on “Value of You” will certainly resonate among any business travelers in the audience, particularly those who have traveled for business over several decades, and those who work for corporations of the large and bureaucratic bent.
The scene is set at the Apple Developer’s Conference, with a Brit related an 18 hour journey in the back of the bus on a cheap ticket.
He offers apologies for the presentation to their customer, all but hung over, in a mental fog from the travel ordeal.
His boss asks why he had not traveled business class – and the reply was it would have almost doubled the cost of the ticket.
