      Powance, Mobility, and iPhone

It’s hard to say if the iPhone momentum can be maintained until Friday – hype fatigue beginning to set in, in spite of glowing endorsements all round.

My personal reaction to the iPhone is similar to HDTV. It’s a beautiful gadget, but that is a LOT of money. Aside from (momentarily) being the coolest kid on the block, I am afraid I would be in for one of the worst cases of buyer’s remorse imaginable.

Crank back the clock ten years, when I was traveling well over 150 nights a year, and I would probably take a far different set of choices. I can see how the combination ( depending on where and how you travel) could be a lot of fun.

It would be even more fun to have the company pay for it.
