Road Warrior and New Gear
Getting ready for a week of training, and had the bright idea to try the podcast on the road with a new set of equipment. First time baptism of fire for each, and this is the mixture of MacBook and Parallels that will see how things really work in the field.
On thing for sure – move off of the tools that I normally use for the podcast, and it gets really unconfortable really fast.
Parallels is doing well, except for about two hours where I could not get it to see the wifi adapter. I think there must be some real loading sensitivity in this hotel to the number of users – but thankfully there is a hardwire connection in the room as well.
I have finally downloaded a new copy of Propaganda – the lightweight editor that I use on a daily basis – got the license to read in, and am back in business. That’s for tomorrow; the old standby Audacity did the bulk of the heavy lifting tonight.
