Today’s video is a simple explaination of RSS – done with a horizontal implementation of the dropped cards – an over the shoulder shot of a whiteboard.
Ustream.tv offers video of podcasters preparing their shows – ZDNet offers whiteboard presentations – TPN offers video recordings of the TPNRoundtable program desktop and presentation sharing.
Crank up the other end of the spectrum, and you have over the air HDTV, the never ending HD-DVD versus Blu Ray story, and IP TV in various forms of production, distribution and creation.
How many screens worth of content and amusement do we need in our selections ?
I thought the most telling comment in today’s program related to the future failure of e-books: not a failure or shortcoming of the technology, but rather the fact that, at the end of the day, at least some of us who look at electronic screens all day just want to prop up the pillows and enjoy a good book.
