Thanks to David Gilson, for again finding a great series of videos for the You Tube collection. This series – which was just released March 15, concerns the new Media Center Edition of Linux, built on Ubuntu and Myth TV (and Asterisk). It looks like a hefty investment in time and money, but here’s a key point from the website: To duplicate the capability of the open source project, you would have to spend over $100,000 in dedicated hardware and software for customized systems.
