A hearty “Thank You”to listeners who have been running traceroute reports to the new server at
68.178.200.238 and sending them along by email.
I sent a text file with about a dozen reports around midnight last night, in addition to those that I have been emailing in earlier in the month, and the culprit box seems to be within sight. Now the problem is figuring out what is wrong with it. GoDaddy has been very helpful in getting this resolved and it’s moved up to their second level guys who specialize in networking issues. Still squirrley in that it seems to go through the box ok from some IP’s and not go through from others.
I have been emailing traceroute messages as they come in, and really appreciate the effort that a lot of folks are making to help get this solved.
So, if successful or not, please send them along – especially if you have different ISP’s at work and at home.
