    Mobile Again Next week

    by Andrew McCaskey

Getting ready for a week of travel and mobile operation.

Sunday night we will be in Indianapolis, the start of the week’s travel that will move me to Atlanta and Boston for most of the week.

Mobile operation is almost always a challenge, and this week is no exception. The conversion of the production process from the Toshiba laptop to the MacBook is underway, with the process being halfway distributed between the two. It is bad enough getting through the airport security system with two laptops (one for work and one for the podcast production), and I certainly do not want to be in the mode of having to get three of them carried through at the same time.

It will be good to get back on the road again – and to check out the Apple Store and Frys’ in Indianapolis. They are both on the northeast side of the city beltway – more geek touring and less driving.
