“Cover” CES ? Sign up for an Impossible Task – Part 3

CES 2007 Video coverage for the TechPodcast Network

With the press of 150,000 attendees and the acres of exhibits – we have an incredible physical task in covering the CES show.

I had hoped to be able to provide video coverage for some of the interviews here on the site, but have just not been able to make it happen as there are literally not enough hours in the day. I’ve got some good unedited footage, but it will just have to wait to get proper coverage.

The TPN team has over fifty video interviews on tape – but not edited or produced, encoded, and uploaded.

The YouTube database has a lag of about three days so I cannot put it into the YouTube Group, yet.

Still it is amazing to see how worthy products that can get lost in the noise of advertising on a day to day basis – maybe small advertising budgets and small companies seem to leap out as you are walking the aisles.

With the announcement of the Apple iPhone yesterday, it looks like the entire attention bandwidth of the tech and business community is focused in the Apple ecosystem. Commuter bus conversations were as likely to include speculation about Apple as the were to include any of the Microsoft centric products.

Flash and substance are almost complementary attributes. The impact of the punch on the Consumer Electronics market place is a combination of both.
