What a difference a year makes – and what a difference the Press Pass to CES makes in the level of workablility!
Three of us from the BluBrry and Techpodcast Network team have made it to the LVCC press room and have a chance to see how the big media folks make all of this happen. The facility, in the South Hall of LVCC has roughly 70 Lenovo laptops, all with Vista – set up in a laptop area . One row is occupied by a group of Chinese journalists – already at work and while there is an atmosphere of calm, there is a steady buzz that is starting to build.
Verizon made some major investments here – the break area is reachable only through a Verizon demo area. Not too populated today, but as the week wears on and deadlines approach, I bet that there will be a number of short filed stories from that same area. Just like real estate – location, location – the same rule applies at trade shows.
