Two pieces of good news: First, the www problem that’s been messing with some loyal listener podcatchers should be fixed - or well on it’s way to propagating in the next 24 hours. Thanks on resolution on that issue go to the phone line support crew at GoDaddy.com for their patience as I plowed through the FAQ, and tried to understand that interface between Plesk and the Cisco PIX501. They can be civil to each other, but are not friends.

The real thanks, though, go to Dwight Illk and Peter Yorke – who normally keep the bittorrent feed under control . With diagnostic help from Tim Westheimer and other listeners, they traced the culprit on Juice podcatchers to a mislabeled file in an OPML directory listing at Techpodcasts.com . You would click on the regular RSS and it would serve up the bittorrent version of the RSS feed. And if your podcatcher doesn’t speak BT, the outlook is not good. Errors happen, and this was one of them – so if you have a podcatcher that’s acting squirrelly that may be the source of the problem.

This all brings us to a new feature for the program : SlashdotReviewHelp{at} gmail.com. It looks like Dwight Illk , with his newly awarded Doctorate of Podcatchers Degree from this latest round, is looking for new challenges.

If you are still having podcatcher issues with Slashdot Review reception, SlashdotReviewHelp{at}gmail.com. is your place for assistance.
