We are happy to announce an upcoming Round Table this coming Saturday, April 29th. This will be a live event and will cover some very cool topics. You are already pre-registered and hope that you will join us. We do want to apologize for the late announcement as we had several presenters that had to re-schedule for next month.
There are three presenters scheduled: For Mac fans, Nosillacast producer Allison Sheridan has been doing a ton of work with Parallels – the virtual machine that lets her run Windows and Linux installations at the same time as OSX. One of our TPN members from Down Under – Mark Bradley – will be offering up a segment on Remote Podcasting – how to keep on the air when you are on the road with selection of gear.
You have been hearing about the ongoing TPN/U3 Developer contest , with $850 in cash prizes. Well two items of interest there: First, as one of our presenters on the Roundtable, we will host Scott Corey, President of Red-Mercury Software. He’s a game developer who’s successfully developed and marketed games for the Palm Pilot, Windows, and Windows Mobile platform. Using GoToMeeting, he is going to be able to show us the process for porting a game to the U3 mobile platform. Just the skills and demo that you need to participate in the TPN/U3 contest.
Plus, U3 has provided sample U3 USB Thumb drives for the first 20 developers who enter the contest this week, prior to the Saturday’s Roundtable . You need to Download the Developer’s kit and register at Techpodcasts.com
