Lots going on this week. For starters, Weekend Co-Host Annette Thomson is in San Francisco this week, as a part of her day job, attending the Gilbane Content Management Conference. If you are attending the conference, please say hello.
This weekend was the official start of the motorcycle season, at least in this part of the country and I was invited to participate in the Blessing of the Bikes – a fun day and adventure to help me break in this season on the Geezerbike (1980 Honda CX-500). As some of you know, I am just now starting to ride again after many years. And with the ABATE Motorcycle Safety Course – highly recommended, by the way – I am coming to terms with the fact in addition to the fact that these people are trying to kill me, an incredible number are talking on the cell phone while they try to accomplish their mission.
All in all it was a great mental vacation from an afternoon’s frustration Saturday with the Plesk control panel. That one was solved by a Tech Support call to my friends at GoDaddy, where I learned that cleaning the cache in Firefox is something good. Really good.
I’m also looking forward to delivering some more U3 Contest news later this week.
In other notes, my eyes and ears were not synchonized. That cool site Friday ? Instructables.com … non Indestructables.com. Sorry for the mixup.
