Found an interesting site today called TechBooksForFree.com -

It’s a resource apparently out of the UK with downloadable books and tutorials on all sorts of interesting topics. I dipped my toes into the books called DNS for Rocket Scientists. No joke, it leads to an interesting and solid site from a company called Zytrax.com. Introduction to Networking Technologies leads off to an IBM tutorial. Usual suspects of Linux, Microsoft, PHP/Python and Databases, plus a section called Science. and we move into nanotechnology, signal processing, chaos theory, immunology – the medical student stuff.
It all has a slightly “how can this be true” air to it, but then links off to totally respectable sites like O’Reilly Open Books – like Asterisk -the Future of Telephony – downloadable as a single large PDF.

Speaking of downloads, the new edition of Tech Podcasts This Week is out, with updates from a number of TPN shows. TTW is published Sunday nights, and is available directly from the site at Techpodcasts.com

Are You a Geek

The TPN Affiliate partner for today is the Are You A Geek podcast.
