TopTenSources is a new favorite find.
They bill themselves as “It’s the opposite of Google! Like, instead of an algorythm that gives you sources on your topic, we have a totally subjective, very unrobotic human being listing the best sources on a topic.Did I mention they are very smart humans?” irina slutsky” That’s right, as daunting as it might seem , these folks search Web 2.0 — blogs, podcasts, wikis, news sites, and every kind of syndicated source online — by hand. Their Top 10 lists are updated frequently as great new sources come online. Plus, if you want to populate your aggregator such as FeedDemon – a quick click of the OPML on each and every topic and you have a totally vetted group of topical RSS ready for import.

As an instance, there is a link to the Topic Called ‘Thinkers of the Web’ that will punch up some of the folks you know, and, I bet, some that you don’t know.
