Annette Thomson, co-host of Slashdot Review Weekend is the one responsible for SDR being added to the Blogdigger Women in Podcasting Group.
A quick run down the list also brings up Biddie Cast and the famous Church of the Customer Podcast with Jackie Huba.
I’ve mentioned Church of the Customer before It’s a business podcast about Word of Mouth Marketing, Customer Evangelism. Ben McConnell and Jackie literally wrote the book on the subject. Highly recommended, even if you are a technologist. It might help explain some of the marketing vapors that surround us all.
Blogdigger is an interesting site that allows you to view and add groups of blogs to a list, and see what others have added as well. Hundreds of blogs and categories to choose from, explore and sample. Once you have selected a group – lets say you are into the group “Electronic Music Gear for Geeks“, you will find five podcasts or blogs assigned to that group in a panel to the right, and to the left, you will find a google like abstract of the most recent postings. Your eyes travel back and forth over the Adwords as you go back and forth, thus completing the business model as well.
Add in the ability to search across those abstracts and it starts to look like a Pretty Cool Site.
Hope that you will be able to have a look at the Wombat Page at the SDR site, It was introduced yesterday. The WOM Badge is a new way for bloggers to tag and display a badge of other blogs or podcasts. Ranging in size from the discrete Podcast411 to the Bumper Sticker from Libsyn, they are are kind of fun -and if you have a badge from WordofBlog.net let me know and I’ll be glad to add it.

Now a really useful guide to Fixing Windows with Knoppix has appeared online, a reprint of a chapter in the book Hacking Knoppix from Scott Granneman . You might want to plan ahead, print out the chapter and put it alongside a fresh burn of Knoppix STD when you get the call.
I came across Google SMS again today- a way to pull all sorts of useful stuff from Google with the fast SMS from your cellphone.
