Thanks for the encouraging comments from listners on the past week’s efforts at CES.

Once the show closed on Sunday, I had some co-host duty on the TechPodcasts This Week production with Todd Cochrane of Geek News Central, and did offer up some summary comments.

Even on the last day, the need to meet an early flight – a really early flight – pushed the available sleep time into the low single digits. Back at home base, it’s going to take the rest of the week to sort things out from the less than optimal packout.

Comments are going to be really, really short – and once the batteries get recharged, I’ll be able to get back into the swing of things.

I am going to go back to the higher encode rate for this podcast- as there is something about the 64kb encode rate that seems to be driving Flash players to the chipmunk mode. The short term work around is to download the file directly from the page or link in the FeedBlitz email. Or, as always, you can find the current and archive shows at DownloadRadio.org.

A new addition to the site at SDR.com , an array of MobilCast Qualified handsets. The engineers at Melodeo run handsets through the mill and qualify them for the MobilCast service. The list changes every few days, as Sony Ericsson and Nokia enhance and obsolete various model numbers. I’ll try to keep it up to date.
