Mobile again today, and regular SDR listeners will sadly join with me in the announcement of the demise of Windstar Studios. At 143,000 miles, the faithful 1996 Winstar van that has hosted more than a few SDR production sessions when mobile is headed for the auto graveyard with fuel injector and failed oil pump – we think. It’s final hours are drifting by at the local Ford dealer, as we decide the ultimate fate. It’s been a good and faithful friend, and with some TLC at the local detailer could still pass for a pretty good ride.
Thanks to Boyd Jones for trying to add his pin to the SDR Frappr map. Not sure at all why you are having difficulty – thanks for the report – I will ping the Frappr support team and see what’s up. About sixty SDR listeners – many adding photos and comments – and I hope that you will consider adding a link to another podcast that you’d recommend to other listener – or even better, leave a link to your Odeo playlist.
Back home, I am learning more that I ever wanted to know about the load sharing capabilities of the new Xincom dual WAN router – that is supposed to combine the Verizon and Comcast feeds at home into something faster and more reliable. I think the words capabilities and supposed to are good hints as to my success so far. What kind of design defaults to the slowest link first ? I just don’t understand.
