Lots of exciting things going on this Saturday November 19th on the live Tech Roundtable.

We are featuring several Techpodcast Network members in a one hour Roundup of the recent Portable Media Expo. Our special guest will be Doug Kaye, of IT Conversations, who was honored as Podcaster of the Year. In a major keynote speech announcement, Doug introduced the Conversations Network, one of the most profound ideas that every podcaster and podcast listener will want to be hear. Doug, very modestly, is setting out to change the world. Be sure to sign up for our upcoming roundtable November 19th 1:30 PM Pacific, 4:30 Eastern -We will be using GoToMeeting.

More goodies added to the site. You can now add your push-pin, photo and comments at the Slashdotreview Frappr page – a cool application of the Google Map API. You will be able to see, in a few days, exactly where SDR listeners listen. I’ve also experimented with the Libsyn Lovers OPML list of podcasts that I enjoy at the bottom of the page, and will see how that works out.

Those two new features are added to the the other new kids on the block: new survey, new player that will let you sample the podcast directly, the FeedBlitz email service, and a Flash Demonstration of Melodeo Mobilcast.

Mobilcast is our newest distribution partner allowing you to receive podcasts on selected Nokia, Motorola Razr and Rokr and Sony Ericsson phones. Melodeo’s development team were the driving force behind the T9 text message software now installed on over one billion phones worldwide. Yes that’s with a B.
