Old Business
Here is the link on the analysis on Hybrid Vehicles that I mentioned last night : a complete math heavy look at the real economics. Bottom line, hybrids are a fashion statement – like the Hard Rock Cafe jacket (or the Harley-Davidson cruiser). Better late than never. I realized about mid-morning that I had mentioned it, and failed to include it in the show version that was picked up for email distribution on FeedBlitz.

I have to tell you one sideline story about the recent Portable Media Expo – where I had a chance to meet regular listeners. One fellow said that he liked the show and his four year old son really liked the episodes that included the dog Jingles. I confess, no SDR is recorded or produced without full time canine supervision. He’s a three year old Australian Shepard, and is seldom more than three feet away. Ever. They are called velcro dogs for that reason.

One of the lessons that I learned this past weekend .. that’s ok. That’s the part of podcasting that we don’t want to give up. If you hear the jingle of dog tags you will know what’s going on. The Area51Show comedy podcast features Caleb, an artist whose dog is named Toulouse. Appropriately, the canine here… is Cisco.
