Thanks to Glen Garner for his continued support of SDR.

This is the start of day 1 from the Portable Media Expo in Ontario, CA. A late arrival last night, and a great deal of excitement as I prepared to finish up the podcast and noticed that … I was missing a bag – in fact the bag that in addition to headphones, contained iPod, passport, conference admissions – in fact just about everything that would justify 45 minutes of panic and retracing of steps. Could not decide if I was relieved and stupid or stupid or relieved, but all turned out ok as the bag got a second trip, then a third trip in the hotel shuttle can.

My apologies to the FeedBlitz listeners who got shortchanged during that time, as I missed the email deadline on the East Coast.

I did take a quick tour of what remained of the evening reception and looked like the tourist that I am in the midst of luminaries like Dave Slusser, Kevin Devin, Steve Holden, Adam Curry, Chuck Tomasi, and the one and only Madge Weinstein. That was the tail end of a session on Podsafe Music.

This morning, great sessions with Jason Calcanis and Leo Laporte. The full wrap up will be the subject of our next Techpodcasts live event.
