When most people think of wikis, they think of interactive, collaborative websites like Wikipedia but there are many other uses for wikis including using it as a whiteboard for your company, or simply to keep yourself and your life organized (I know many GTDers do this at least). If you’re looking for the right tool for the job, TipMonkies links to some basic info on over 20 different wiki tools, as well as pricing plans and limitations.
They also linked to MapChat
which offers a pretty innovative chat client that uses AJAX and integrates Google Maps into its interface so that you can see, in real time, who is typing and where they are from, a pretty cool and different way of chatting with people .
Thanks to those of you who are signing up for the FeedBlitz email service at SDR, which sends along a fresh copy of SDR in your mailbox each morning, with links to the comments and songs for your cubical listening enjoyment. Once you go to SDR.com and enter your email, you will receive a confirming email in your inbox. Click on that and the process will fire off each night at midnight Eastern time.
A interesting bit of buzz concerning the Portable Media Expo – the battle of celebrities of the podcasting world. Looks like I will be joined by about 2500 of my closest friends – and I know that you’ll get plenty of coverage from the multiple podcasts that will be covering the event. The big airplane trek starts tomorrow, the perpetual search for a wifi upload point in mobile editions the rest of this week.
