Thanks to the folks at Libsyn who did some serious juggling last night, dodging the power outages that apparently zapped some of their facilities in Florida. Their system was down only a few hours and allowed us to get the upload posted, although a bit later than normal last night.

If you find that there is a problem with your regular MP3 feed, and your podcatcher will allow bittorrent, don’t forget that the day’s program is available at DownloadRadio.org. Even on the old tracker system handled a few thousand downloads and did not break a sweat. With the new dedicated seeders, there’s even better service. The Blue Icon at SDR is the separate subscription feed for bittorrent that you might want to try.

Two Techpodcast Netowork shows of note:

The MacReviewCast looks at software, hardware and websites that make using the Mac special. This week’s program looks at the new Dreamweaver 8 from Macromedia and then we bring you up to date on the weeks best freeware releases for the Mac. Robert Pritchett from the maccompanion joins us again and we discuss last weeks Apple announcements and the Switcher contest that is ending on October 31st. We want to make your switch to the Mac as painless as possible, join us everyweek for the MacReviewCast.

The Mike Tech Show podcast discusses cool sites, software, tips and tricks that will make you more productive at home and work. In recent shows, Mike reviews the program, Microsoft Small Business Accounting 2006. This week, he has a Toolbox set of security tools for Windows. Visit miketechshow.com for his podcast and daily blog. Also, a word of thanks for the link from Mike’s site.
