As we’ve grown, we have moved into that treacherous territory where you commit to high fixed costs in order to get the level of reliability and service that you want to provide, and that ongoing support is a big help. Just like the NPR fund drives, I can assure you that as the expression goes, we have received little government support recently, in spite of what that fellow in the spotted suit says on late night TV.
Woot was sweet today.. awfully tempting. A 61″ DLP, with two HDTV tuners – $2499.00. They threw in 40 hours of DVD’s The Ultimate Matrix Collection. Think of it as a Very Pricy DVD Set That Comes With a Free TV. It does seem strange that they pop you for an additional $5 for shipping.
Getting ready for the big show in just about ten days. This is, of course, the Portable Media Expo November 11-12 in Ontario, CA. I hope to see many of you there, and link up realtime with members of the Tech Podcast Network. This is going to be an event to be remembered – probably the first major podcasting trade show, ever – with ambitions to be come the NAB of Podcasting from a business, political and technical standpoint.
