The Bittorrent feed is smoothly moving along. A big word of thanks to those of you who have helped over the months to manage at least some of our bandwidth load by trying out the Bittorrent feed. Since SDR began in October 2004, we have endeavored to provide a bittorrent feed – and with the exception of the most recent outage, it has proven to be one of the most reliable over the months – as we have moved through three separate upgrades to provide bandwidth for a growning audience. The SDR bittorrent feed is a daily demonstrartion of a substantial non-infringing use of the technology, and one day it will be important to build logs and a track record of thousands of downloads that will help preserve our rights online.
Let’s see what’s new at Techpodcasts this week:
Need hosting help? Let the Web hosting Show be your guide! This week on the Web Hosting Show — the voice of the Web hosting world — you will hear about the new web server the size of a match stick and how to set up your very own DSL/Cable server. You’ll also get the rest of the Web hosting headlines, tips, tricks and a few more wacky views on and about the Web hosting world. Listen to the Web Hosting Show every Monday at webhostingshow.com.
And be sure to tune into The World’s Technology Podcast for all the latest in global technology news. Tech correspondent Clark Boyd scours public radio and BBC sources to bring you the stories that no one’s talking about, but SHOULD be. This week, Clark profiles a Norwegian video-blogger who’s decided to mix art and politics. Also, the Chinese decide to limit the amount of time its citizens can spend playing video games. Those stories and more, on the World’s technology podcast. Find out more at www.theworld.org/technology.
