It’s up and it’s official, the Camtasia Studio video version of the entire Special Event #1 from the TechPodcast Network. Jennifer Snoddy, the Girl on Tech Podcast, has done a tremendous job of capturing the first event – including a few minutes of audio unrest at the beginning.
We are planning the second live event Sept 3, so mark your calendars to keep that afternoon open.
Today I am starting a new feature on the site at SDR.com – a very simple link through ODEO.com that I think you will find interesting.
Odeo combines aspects of a podcatcher client with a social client like del.ic.ious or digg.com in the world of podcasting. What this means is that not only can you see who has subscribed to the SlashdotReview podcast, you can also see (and try out immediately) podcasts that they recommend.
Add to this the ability to search and sort by content tags, and you have a very interesting way to look into the minds of fellow SDR listeners, discover new podcasts and materials, and hone in on content that you find valuable.
