Here’s a few items of interest on the TechpodcastNetwork this week:
Bittorrent Feed Problems
We started having problems late Thursday night – the file was converted into a torrent but not seeding from the various seeder machines. Could not have happened at a worse time, as Peter Yorke’s moving vans arrived for a household move. By the weekend, move still in progress, it was determined that the seeder machines had not been fully patched and due to an SSH flaw, were now “0wn3d” by some Romanians. Each of the seeders will require a physical pull-out and “bleaching” – and I think that is going on this week, as some of the affected machines are in Seattle and some in Burbank.
Talking with Rob Greenlee on IM, and he is fighting worm problems on his sites.. so lots going on.
Hope we can get this back to normal soon.
